Our Christmas Appeal is even more vital this year – we need your help
We use the income from our Gites to fund our small family-run donkey refuge and support our project to help save the critically endangered Baudet du Poitou.
We have had to close twice due to COVID-19 and have lost the income used to support our Donkeys.
During the pandemic, we have managed to help two brand new baby Poitous into the world.
Despite serious birthing and health problems, we are so fortunate that both ‘miracle’ foals are now thriving.
We now have 8 hungry mouths to feed, with the gites currently still shut and the uncertainty of COVID in the coming months, things are looking tough.
How you can help:
Donate: Sponsor one of our donkeys by becoming a Patron or donate to help our donkeys this winter.
Visit: Book a holiday so that you can relax in tranquil surroundings and spend time with the donkeys! You can pay a deposit now, receive a gift voucher and if you cannot come, we can simply re-arrange the date!
Shop: Buy some La Drome Donkey merchandise, treat yourself, buy for family or friends. They make ideal Christmas gifts.
